Poland broke the record for infection with coronavirus

Poland recorded 903 new cases of coronavirus infection per day. The Polish Ministry of health announced this on its Twitter page.
As noted by Reuters, this figure was the highest for the country since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and thus broke the previous record for cases per day. The most infected were in the Silesian, lesser Poland and Masovian voivodeships.
Separately, it is noted that 13 people died from the coronavirus during the day. At the same time, all of them had concomitant diseases.
In total, almost 60,300 people have been infected in the country since the beginning of the epidemic, of which 1,938 have died.
An outbreak of COVID-19 pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus was first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. In General, more than 22.6 million people were infected in the world, and almost 794 thousand died.
